My name is Taurean! This GoFundMe is for myself and my sweet pups Juniper + Widow. I thank anyone for taking the time to read this, consider, and those who can offer any financial support at this time, as this is a vulnerable act, yet necessary. I am going to share my story as of this last month with you all.

I have experienced an immensely challenging last month and a half. On December 23, 2022, I went into ICU for treatment of Covid. I spent three days there and once I was home, experienced incredible weakness and exhaustion. This hurdle made it difficult to show up for work and create income for the last month. I am a facilitator of healing sessions, such as Kambô, Sound Healing, Reiki, and other modalities. I have had a supportive practice for the last four years, and being of service in community can be challenging when hurdles appear on the path. I am surrendering to my needs and asking for financial support from my community, family, and friends at this time.

Being hospitalized for Covid and returning home to recover made it challenging to create spaces for others, and I have tried my best to extend myself in those spaces this last month. I have received enough financial support from my work to pay for my bills and rent for January, however, I do not have a savings account with funds.

Due to my level of exhaustion and repeating episodes of high fevers and low blood pressure, I have not been able to show up as often as I should to be able to create my monthly income - nor find a more stable job with regular hours and expectations, etc.

The fevers and blood pressure issues have continued to happen up until last week, and this is the first week I have not had any fevers since December.

Finally, I woke up this morning on January 26, to a letter from the new landlord of the little house I have been living in since October 2022. This letter is a termination of my one-year lease, stating that I must be out of my home within the next 10 days. This means I need to be out by February 5, 2023. I am hoping I can find a place to be before then with help and support. At this time, I do not have a place to stay, nor the financial funds to pay for a u-haul, deposit, utility start-up fees, and first + last month's rent for a new place.

My heart is feeling unsteady, as I have created a home in this space over the last five months and have loved it. I am surrendering into trust in where my path is leading me, praying and asking for support from anyone who can share financial support at this time.

I was most definitely not expecting to be asked to leave my casita at this time, but I do not have a choice in this matter. This is my attempt to do what I can with the energy I currently have.

The funds you share will support my move, storage unit fees, a deposit for a new living space, and at least the first + last month's rent and bills. Because I work for my community, I do not have official pay stubs, which creates a challenge with finding a rental. So, I am prepping for a deposit of a higher amount to be asked of me to be accepted in a new space. Your support will also help with daily needs, such as food for my pups and myself, gas, and car insurance.
