We wanted to share this heartbreaking news, to not only ask for all the genuine prayers needed, but for financial support, as well, for Tauheedah Shah and her immediate family.

Tauheedah Shah and family were traveling to NC from Baltimore, MD, to attend her family reunion (Blacknell/Jones...etc.) this weekend, when her car was struck by another car. Tauheedah sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted from MD to Duke Medical Center for emergency surgery due to bleeding and swelling in her brain.

Her sister, Margaret Lecato, who also traveled here from MD to attend the reunion, has needed to extend her stay to be by her side during these unpredictable moments. Due to the severity of Tauheedah's injuries, the length of time she may remain in the hospital is uncertain.

Thus, we are asking family, friends, and all those who have taken the time to read this heartfelt story, for your genuine, loving, and healing prayers, and for your generous and kind donations to help in covering the unexpected medical expenses for Tauheedah and hotel expenses for her family so they can remain close by while she's going through any necessary medical procedures to save her life.
