Support Tatyana's Recovery

On December 6, 2021, Tatyana (Tanya) Kozlova was involved in a head-on collision with an 18-wheeler semi-truck. After about an hour-long attempt to release her from her vehicle, she was airlifted to the hospital where she has been receiving care since. She is currently in the ICU and her injuries consist of 2 broken femurs, a broken foot, and a fractured and dislocated elbow. She also has some fractures in her spine (not her spinal cord, thank God!), two small spots of blood in her brain, a clot in her right leg, and a clot in her lung.

She's had surgery on both of her femurs but will need more surgery in the future. They've put pins in her foot and stabilized her elbow, which will also need surgery in the future. She will also need physical therapy/rehabilitation down the road. In spite of all these injuries, Tanya has been moving her hands and toes and even smiled a few times when her boyfriend, Ed, talked to her and when she heard her dad's voice. (She also smiled when Ed mentioned sushi!)

Anyone that knows Tanya knows she is a fighter. Even her nurses and doctors now know this and have nicknamed her "Strong Russian". Tanya has a huge heart for others, one that, even as her older sister, I look up to. She forgives easily and loves strongly, and is the healthiest person I know. She is passionate about seeing people get well and live their healthiest lives. She doesn't deserve this.

We are believing for her full recovery and healing, in Jesus's name. We are so thankful to everyone who has been praying for her and supporting us as a family. We are believing that the Lord will move on her behalf even more than he already has. We believe that He will supernaturally heal her and that her recovery will be shorter than the doctors anticipate. Tanya is strong and loves a God who is even stronger and is the Ultimate Healer.
