Tatyana, Brandon and Harlow recently shared the announcement of their sweet baby boy due in July of 2025. A recent ultrasound and doctors appointment revealed that the little guy has a hypo-plastic right heart. This is a rare heart condition that will require several heart surgeries very early on. The first surgery will take place during his first week of life. He is expected to be in the NICU at the hospital following the first surgery for 6-8 weeks. This first surgery does pose risks of complication and mortality but we are hopeful. Following this, he will need a second surgery around 2-4 months old and will again be in the hospital for a bit. After thorough consideration and discussion with doctors and family, Tatyana and Brandon have decided to continue with the pregnancy and are remaining hopeful. We are expecting him to be a strong little guy. However, this process will be both emotionally and financially straining for their little family. They are currently planning to sell their condo and live with Brandon’s mom and step-father following his birth for extra support. This may hinder the ability of other family members to visit temporarily, especially with the high risk of him catching any additional illnesses. We are hoping for the best but this will be a difficult time for them nonetheless.
