Hey, my name is Maggie and I want to tell you about my best friend, Tatum Zornes.
Tatum is the epitome of love, laughter, and light. She is the kindest soul of any being I have ever met, she loves so fiercely and loyally that you will never have to question your place in her life. Her laughter is truly infectious, we could laugh for hours about absolutely nothing. Her friendship has been life saving for me, she gives me so much hope, reassurance, and validation.
Tatum means the absolute world to me, not just to me but to everyone around her.
Now that you know a little about this amazing being, I have some sad news. Wednesday March 11th, Tatum had what they call a hemorrhagic stroke due to high blood pressure. It has caused quite the scare and at this point in her journey we are unsure of what the road to recovery will look like in any form. We are unsure of how long she will be in the hospital, as of now she is still in the ICU and is stable.
Her Mom has been by her side the entire time she’s been in the hospital, meaning she has had to miss work and I’m sure will continue to miss work while Tatum is recovering. This is going to be tough in many ways for the family and if they can have a little peace of mind, it will make the road to recovery a little less stressful.
Tatum is so young, this isn’t what her life should look like, all we can do is help her in the best way that we can to recover and eventually come home.
If you have the means, please consider donating or share this with your friends. Thank you. We truly appreciate it. ❤️
Update as of March 20, 2026
Tatum has made some wonderful progress. She has been using a boogie board and her phone to talk with us, even sometimes having a few words to say in a raspy voice. She is working hard with PT and OT and hopefully soon she’ll be able to go to Rehab! Thank you all so much for showing up for her, for easing a little of the stress on her family. I truly appreciate you all so much. She deserves all of the love and support from us. ❤️
