Support Tatiana Taanka Korthuis' Miss Indian World Journey
Donation protected
My name is Tatiana Taanka Korthuis, and I’m honored to represent the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta Region and the state of Alaska as the 2024–2025 Miss Cama-i and Miss World Eskimo Indian Olympics (WEIO). As a proud Yup'ik woman, cultural ambassador, and advocate for Indigenous youth, I am excited to share that I will be competing in the Miss Indian World 2025 competition this coming April in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Gathering of Nations Powwow.
Miss Indian World is more than just a pageant—it’s an opportunity to uplift our cultures, languages, and communities. It is a chance to celebrate who we are as Indigenous peoples and showcase the strength, beauty, and diversity of our traditions.
To make this dream possible, I am humbly asking for your support through financial contributions or in-kind donations to help cover the following expenses:
Airfare
Hotel accommodations
Ground transportation
Meals
Miscellaneous costs related to preparation and participation
Any amount helps, and your support—whether big or small—means the world to me. Quyana cakneq, thank you for believing in me and for supporting me on this journey.
