Hey friends, family, and kind strangers! My name is Tati, and for the first time in a long time, I can see the finish line. I’m the Service Manager for an adventure-RV company, the crew that turns empty cargo shells into rolling homes. Every day I help van-lifers troubleshoot water pumps, track down mystery squeaks, and keep their dream rigs rolling.
Problem: my dream commute is a nightmare.
I don’t own a car (wild, I know, for someone who fixes vans). I ride buses, Ubers, and pure hustle to get to work. An apartment opened eight minutes from the shop, I applied before the ink dried, and got approved then the security deposit and first-month rent hit me harder than a pothole at highway speed.
I have already scraped together money from paychecks, side gigs, and sheer determination. The final gap to secure my keys, turn on utilities, and hire a modest moving team is. Closed mouths don’t get fed, so today my mouth is wide open. I’m asking for a hand up not a hand-out to bridge this last stretch so I can pull my dog Kiwi out of house hopping limbo, and show up to work rested instead of road-weary.
Why It Matters
More time serving customers, less time praying the bus shows up.
A stable address that lets me keep building my credit and my future.
Kiwi and my jungle of houseplants finally get a forever corner by the window.
Donate whatever feels right: five dollars, fifty, or that random $17.24 in your Venmo. Every bit nudges us closer to home.
2. Share this link with anyone who loves dogs, RVs, or comeback stories.
3. Drop a word of encouragement. Screenshots of hope go straight to the fridge.
Every dollar pushes me toward one simple moment: sliding a key into my own front door, breathing out, and saying, “We made it.”
Thank you for reading, thank you for sharing, and thank you for proving that community is the greatest engine ever built.
With grit, gratitude, and a van-full of hope,
