My name is Tasin, and writing this breaks my heart. I came to the United States to build a better future through education, and I did everything I was supposed to do. I completed my master’s degree in cybersecurity and prepared myself to work and support myself honestly.
To be able to commute to jobs that were far away and not accessible by public transportation, I had to purchase a car. It wasn’t a luxury—it was a necessity. Now, despite being actively job hunting, I am unemployed and still struggling to make high-interest car payments every month just to keep going.
Without a job, the pressure has become unbearable. I’m drowning in bills, uncertainty, and fear, while still trying every day to find work so I can fix my life on my own. It’s devastating to work so hard for years and end up stuck like this, doing everything right yet still falling behind.
Asking for help is humiliating, but I’ve reached a point where I cannot survive this moment alone. Your support would help me stay afloat, keep my transportation, and continue searching for work so I can rebuild my life after everything I’ve been through.
Thank you for reading and for giving me hope when I feel invisible.
