My dear friend, Tashoy Brown, and her two young children are living through a nightmare no family should ever face. When Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, it destroyed everything they owned. Their roof, their belongings, their food, their clothing, and their sense of safety.

Today, they are still trying to survive inside what remains of their broken home, exposed to the weather, sleeping under what used to be their roof, with no shelter to turn to and nowhere else to go. Every day is a struggle just to stay safe and get by.

Tashoy is a loving mother doing everything she can to protect her children, but the truth is they urgently need help. They have no food, no clothing, no basic necessities, and no means to rebuild their home on their own.
