Warm Greetings from Nepal
Hi everyone! I’m Niko, writing to you from the serene village of Pokhara, Nepal. For the forth year in a row, I’m raising funds for my dear friend Tashi—a kind, humble, and deeply spiritual Tibetan Buddhist monk.
Tashi was originally ordained at the Drepung Loseling Monastery in South India, and now lives a quiet, prayerful life here in Nepal. Unfortunately, he faces ongoing health challenges. He suffers from a chronic urinary tract disorder and digestive system issues, both of which require regular medication that costs about $50 every three months—an amount he simply cannot afford on his own.
In addition to his medical needs, Tashi also needs urgent dental care. Years of untreated issues have left him with tooth loss making it difficult for him to eat and speak comfortably. The costs for dental treatment are beyond his means, but vital to his well-being.
My goal is to raise $200 to cover his medication for one full year—and, if possible, additional funds to begin addressing his dental care.
Even the smallest donation can go a long way in helping Tashi live without pain and continue his spiritual practice. He keeps all his supporters in his daily prayers, and is profoundly grateful for every bit of help he receives.
Please consider supporting Tashi’s healing journey. Your generosity truly makes a world of difference.
With heartfelt thanks,
Niko
