Tashia is the Director of the North Central Florida-Food System Coalition (NCF-FSC), a long-time board member of Grace Grows, and deeply involved in issues relating to homelessness, affordable housing, food justice, carceral justice/prison reform, and community engagement throughout Gainesville.

Tashia experienced an unexpected health emergency recently and persevered through an extended hospital stay in critical condition. Tashia was discharged but is still dealing with challenging health issues while contending with costly medical bills.

Because Tashia can't return to work until she fully recovers, we are seeking to raise money to help her pay down her medical expenses. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $2,600.00 in support of this dedicated community advocate who has given so much of her time and effort toward helping those in need.
