Support Tasha’s Brave Battle Against Cancer

Dear friends, family, and kindhearted strangers,
We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts to share the story of an incredibly brave young
woman, Tasha, who is currently facing her own fight against cancer. Tasha is a strong, compassionate,
resilient woman who has always been a source of light to those around her. Now, she needs our help more than ever.
Her Journey:
In November 2024 Tasha started feeling unwell on January 3rd 2025 during exploratory surgery, Tasha
got diagnosed ovarian cancer. Tasha has just undergone a 7-hour surgery that was nothing short of life-
altering. During this invasive surgery, Tasha had two large masses removed, along with a full
hysterectomy, the removal of her spleen, some lymph nodes, and a chunk of her large of intestines, the
lower part of her diaphragm was also removed and some small pockets of cancer that were also found
during the surgery. This was an incredibly tough and risky procedure, but Tasha showed immense
strength throughout.
Now, as she begins to recover from this surgery, she faces the next chapter of her battle: an aggressive
regimen of chemotherapy and radiation. These treatments are crucial to her recovery, but they will be
physically, emotionally and financially. Tasha needs our support more than ever as she navigates this
challenging road ahead.
What makes this even more heartbreaking is that Tasha’s mother passed away from cancer when Tasha
was just 27 years old. Tasha was not only a devoted daughter but also her mother’s rock, advocate
caregiver, and support system, making sure her mom had everything she needed during that difficult
time. Now, Tasha finds herself facing a similar fight, and we want to come together to support her as
she has and still does supports others.
Tasha’s dog, Blaze, has been by her side through it all. Blaze is not just a pet; she is her world, her
constant source of comfort, and the love she holds for her is immeasurable. Blaze has been a loyal
companion, offering Tasha emotional support and bringing light to even the darkest of days. In the
midst of her struggles, Blaze has been there to bring her joy and peace when she needs it most.
How You Can Help:
The emotional and physical toll of cancer treatment, along with the burden of Tasha’s extensive
surgery, has been compounded by significant financial hardship. In addition to her medical bills, Tasha
is self employed with her own cleaning business and does not have any medical insurance or income
from her business coming in.
2 days before her surgery Tasha went to work so she would be able to get some basics necessities for
when she gets back home from the hospital. It will be impossible to pay for essential living expenses
like rent, utilities, and food. As she is unable to work while undergoing treatment and recovering from
surgery, she is facing overwhelming financial pressures, and that’s where we can step in.
This GoFundMe campaign has been created to help Tasha with both her medical expenses and the
everyday costs that come with living while fighting cancer. Every donation, no matter how small, will
directly help alleviate these burdens so that Tasha can focus on her recovery and not on how to make
ends meet.
Our Goal:
Our goal is to raise $20 thousand to cover Tasha’s medication, rent, food, and other essential living
expenses. Your support will help ensure that she has a safe home, the nourishment she needs, and the
care required to heal and fight this battle.
Thank You:
Thank you for taking the time to read Tasha’s story and for offering your support during this incredibly
difficult time. Whether through a donation, a share, or simply a prayer, your kindness and generosity
mean the world to Tasha, her dog Blaze, and her loved ones.
Please help us spread the word by sharing this campaign with others. With your help, we can make sure
Tasha feels the strength of a community that believes in her fight and in her future.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Paige, Lins
