Support Tasha Jackson After Her Mother's Passing

It is with a heavy heart to share the news that Tasha Jackson has lost her mother, Doris Jackson. Tasha is the surviving child after losing her sister in a tragic car accident several years ago. Doris was in long-term care over many years prior for a variety of medical needs, and passed away June 14, 2025. This Gofundme is to help Tasha raise between $6-$10k for basic funerary services. Doris Jackson is survived by her daughter Tasha, her 5 grandchildren, Chris, Tevye, Cayvon, and Matt Jr.

As you know, Tasha is a vital member of our McKinley Team who provides excellent learning opportunities for our students. Her sixteen years in the district include contributions at Santa Monica High, John Muir Elementary, Lincoln Middle as well as McKinley Elementary in various programs and reflects her professionalism and commitment to working with students.

Because Doris had long standing medical issues, she was denied life insurance. Tasha is a single mother of a child with special needs and our contributions will help pay for outstanding medical costs, funeral costs, and a memorial. Tasha is currently navigating arrangements and any amount of donation you give, will help and be greatly appreciated.
