For those who don’t know my mom Taryn and even for those who do and just haven’t heard from us in a while, my mom has been fighting a sadly familiar battle with breast cancer this last year and a half. Thankfully it has been a winning fight for the last year but it’s taken a huge toll on all aspects of my mom’s life. We received crushing news that even after a round of chemotherapy, double mastectomy, and radiation it most likely still spread. All this comes after fighting pneumonia which is how we even know it spread in the first place. We could not have gotten to this point in the process without the kindness and help of friends, family, and even strangers. Nonetheless my mom still needs help and as hard as it’s been to get to this point we fear it’s only going to get harder. That’s why we are asking anyone with the ability and willingness to help to contribute whatever you can to help my mom pay for her continuing fight with cancer. Thankfully it’s not the beginning of the fight and we benefit from the resources we’ve managed to leverage along the way but anything helps and will go a long way to helping my mom stay strong and healthy for the journey to come.
