Taryn was born with hydrocephalus and suffers from epilepsy and a migraine disorder. Taryn has suffered her entire life with these medical conditions. She tries her best to not let these issues affect her being a full-time student and athlete. Taryn's family continues to keep up on medical care, which entails a lot of traveling.

In the next couple of weeks, Taryn and her parents will be traveling to Denver to see a neurosurgeon, spine specialist, and then possibly start new treatment for migraines. They are looking at having to stay there for at least two weeks. After treatment, they do not know when Taryn will be able to travel back home. Taryn's parents will both be missing work to stay with her throughout these appointments and treatments.
