Support Taryn through her fight with colorectal cancer.

Hello, I’m Taryn, I’m 46 years old, I’m a mother to my beautiful 5 year old daughter and a wife to my wonderful husband Sandy.

On March 25th 2025 I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. I don’t drink or smoke and despite eating healthy and exercising, cancer just doesn’t discriminate and I find myself here still in shock and devastation.

On May 21st 2025, I will be undergoing a major surgery called a Lower Anterior Resection. This is to remove the cancerous tumor along with a large piece of my colon, surrounding tissue and lymph nodes. Then reconnect my colon. I’ve never had a major surgery and I’m nervous and scared.

This is the first step, if the doctors find it is more advanced then I will have to go through more treatment, such as chemotherapy and radiation.

I’m asking for donations to help me and my family get through this incredibly difficult time in our lives. All funds will go towards hospital/medical bills and household expenses, as well as cancer care items.

Sandy is the sole provider for our family, we don’t have much of a support system. I’m not going to be able to function or drive during my recovery and he will have to take many weeks off from work to take care of me and our child during this unfortunate journey that I’m on.

I love my life, and I simply wish to continue to experience this beautiful life, raise my daughter, grow old with my husband, and hope to see my grandchildren one day.

This cancer diagnosis has caused me severe anxiety and stress, I cry everyday, have breakdowns and panic attacks, I’m having a very hard time sleeping at night. But I now know that my only option is to put on my armor and fight. Please support me and be my army of love.
