My name is Taryn Stargen, and I am a mother of five beautiful children. Recently, my life was turned upside down after leaving a difficult and unsafe situation involving domestic violence. What made this experience even harder was that the dispute involved a police officer, leaving me feeling unheard, unsupported, and struggling to find safety for myself and my children.

Since then, we have been left homeless and are trying to start over from nothing. Every day is a battle to keep my children safe, fed, and hopeful while I search for stable housing and resources to rebuild our lives. Despite the challenges, I am determined to give my kids a better future full of peace, stability, and love.
