Support Tariyah's Engineering Dream at UC Berkeley

Hello, my name is Tariyah. I am a sophomore at George Ranch High School with a weighted GPA of 3.7, and I have been accepted to participate in a Pre-College Summer Program at UC Berkeley in San Francisco, California. My plan of study is a double major in Civil and Industrial Engineering. This is just one step closer to that goal. I am determined to become an engineer and be a generational first for my family. The only thing that is stopping me at this moment is the financial cost of it all. I received a scholarship to attend this summer program; however, getting there and back home is my only hurdle. Flights are not cheap, and I know with the help of family and friends that believe in me, we can make it happen. I am not asking for an outrageous amount of money, but anything will help and get me closer to my goal.
