Support Tara’s Liver Transplant Journey

Hi, my name is Tara. I’m a mom, partner, and teacher—and right now, I’m facing the hardest fight of my life.

I am currently waiting for a liver transplant due to nonalcoholic fatty liver disease combined with an autoimmune disorder. My condition has progressed to the point where I can no longer work or return to the classroom while I wait for a transplant. This has been devastating, not only physically and emotionally, but financially as well.

I am a single mom and the sole income provider for my household. Being unable to work has left my family in a very vulnerable position during an already overwhelming time. My greatest motivation is my son, Dawson, and my partner, Jesse, who have been my constant support as we navigate endless appointments, uncertainty, and fear—while trying to hold onto hope.

The funds raised will help cover:

• Daily living expenses while I’m unable to work

• Medical costs related to transplant care

• Travel and recovery expenses

• Supporting my son and household during this critical time

As a teacher, I’ve always devoted my life to caring for and uplifting others. Now, I’m humbly asking for help to get through this chapter so I can focus on healing and being here for my family.
