My sister Tara Rigik was burned on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, after helping her boyfriend fix a car. She was under the hood while he tried starting the car, and a fireball went straight into her face and caught her hoodie on fire. She has third and fourth-degree burns. Today, January 15th, 2026, she is having her first surgery. Doctors stated it’s a lot worse than originally thought. Not only did the skin get burned, but the burn is so deep they think the cells have died. Next week, she will be having another surgery to repair the damage. She is the only one who pays the bills in her home, and due to this unforeseen accident, she’s unable to provide for herself or her bills. I’m asking for help to ease her pain by donating anything you possibly can. All donations we are thankful for and will be going directly to rent, new sheets and covers when she does go home, dog food since she has a dog, electric bill, and anything else that needs to get paid while she’s hospitalized. Unfortunately, bills come every month whether we have the money or not. Please continue to pray for her recovery because it will be a long road to a full recovery.
