Tara, my sister, recently underwent a liver transplant on February 27, 2026. This life-saving procedure was the result of a long and difficult battle with cancer, and while we are so grateful for the medical team and the hope this transplant brings, the journey is far from over. Tara also needs to travel to the hospital three times a week for follow-up care, which adds up quickly in terms of both time and money.
