Help Support Tara’s Recovery
On November 2nd, our beloved Tara experienced a sudden and spontaneous aortic dissection. She was airlifted to South Shore University Hospital, where she underwent an eight-hour emergency surgery that ultimately saved her life. By the grace of God, Tara survived this unimaginable ordeal. However, the dissection led to a stroke that has affected the left side of her body.
The love, prayers, and support poured out over these past weeks have meant more than words can express. Mike and Tara are truly overwhelmed and deeply moved. Your messages, meals, visits, overwhelming kind gestures and prayers have been a testament to the incredible community that Tara and Mike have built and loved over the years.
Many of you have continued to ask, “How can I help?” or “What can we do?”
We’re grateful to share that Tara has now been transferred to rehab and in true Tara fashion, she is showing incredible strength, working tirelessly, and making amazing strides every day. Her determination is nothing short of inspiring.
As she continues this journey, there will be ongoing needs once she returns home. Certain equipment, home modifications, therapies, and support services will be essential to help Tara regain her independence and continue healing. These items are costly, and we hope to ease some of the financial burden on Mike and Tara during this challenging time.
If you feel called to help, please consider donating. No amount is too small, and every gift will make a meaningful difference in Tara’s road to recovery.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your continued love, prayers, and generosity.
With gratitude,
