My best friend Tara and I have shared over 30 years of friendship. She has been bravely battling cancer. And liver disease. This journey has been incredibly difficult for her, but she continues to fight with courage and hope. Unfortunately, many of the treatments that are most important for her recovery are not covered by her health insurance. These treatments are essential for her to stay alive and continue her fight.

Tara has always been the person who is there for everyone else—her kindness and support have touched so many lives. Now, she is the one who needs help.

Her daughter is pregnant and due to have baby in a few months, and Tara has so much to live for. I am starting this fundraiser to give Tara the chance to receive the treatments she desperately needs. Every dollar raised will go directly toward her medical care, caretaking support, and give her hope for healing and more precious time with her family, especially as they prepare to welcome a new baby.
