Support Tarah's Journey to Recovery

After surviving a nearly fatal domestic assault strangulation, Tarah was left a seeing a team of neurologists for last 3 years due to an anoxic brain injury and damage to her neck. Due to her occupation, her neck injury has been unable to heal and has caused herniations of several discs in her neck. The herniations are causing her spinal cord to be 90% compressed. Symptoms have progressively gotten worse and she is now to the point that surgery is imminent. This will include an anterior discectomy and cervical spine fusion. Recovery is projected to be 4-6 months and unfortunately all of her PTO and sick time has been exhausted due to hospitalizations for ongoing kidney issues.

Tarah is truly one of the most loving, kind, and caring souls I have ever met. Despite facing immense trials and tribulations, she has not let life harden her. She continues to approach the world with softness, compassion, and a light that inspires everyone fortunate enough to know her. The world is undoubtedly a brighter and better place with her in it.

As she begins this next phase of recovery, she faces incredible challenges, not only for herself but also as the sole provider for her household, which includes her beloved son, Masen. Her resilience and determination to heal are remarkable, but she cannot do this alone.
