My name is Amista Cavin. My baby sister and her little family could use any help that they can get right now! Her name is Tara Mays. She has two daughters, Maleah and McKenna. They are her world! Tara started working as a 911 dispatcher for Washington County just a few months ago. Then she was hit with a life changer!
On December 17th, she started having seizure/passing out-like spells where she would stop breathing. Her blood pressure and heart rate have become abnormal. Some days, these episodes happen multiple times. Right before Christmas, Tara was admitted to the hospital for testing. Doctors aren't sure if it is heart-related and are leaning more towards a neurological issue. The doctors here want to run a few more tests but would like her to go to Vanderbilt. One test that Vanderbilt wants to do will put her inpatient for 5-7 days for an epilepsy study.
With all this happening, she is not able to drive or even work. The doctors have put her out until January 13th with a possibility of being out longer. Even as a little girl, Tara has always been independent. With only having her job for such a short time, this has set her back not only mentally but financially.
She wouldn't ask for help as she wouldn't want to take away from others. So I took it upon myself to ask for her. She will need funds for food, both medical/monthly bills, travel expenses, and so forth. I want to thank you for taking the time to read a little about Tara's journey she is going on. I thank you for however you help, whether it's through prayers, sharing this, or making a donation!
