Support for Tara and Tyler

If you’ve spent any time in the Maple Valley community, there’s a good chance you know Tara. Maybe Tara has filled your prescriptions at Bartell’s or Safeway, greeted you with a smile, or simply been a steady, kind presence in everyday life. Angela is starting this fundraiser for Tara and Tyler because they are the kind of friends and neighbors who always show up for others. They help when someone is in need, offer support without hesitation, and have given so much care to the people around them. Now, they need that same love and support in return.

This past week, Tara’s life changed in a matter of days. After waking up with sudden, agonizing upper-back pain and spending three days in the ER, Tara was transferred to another hospital for an MRI. Doctors found several large abscesses pressing on Tara’s spinal cord and nerves from T2 to T5, and emergency surgery became a matter of life or death. Tara went into a 3.5-hour surgery within hours and now faces a long recovery ahead. Donations will help Tara and Tyler cover medical expenses, bills, lost income, meals, and everyday needs so Tara can focus fully on healing. If you’re able, please give whatever you can.
