Support Tanzania Orphans: Sewing Machines & Computers

I had an amazing opportunity to visit Tanzania this past summer with the organization called Water 4 Mercy. I visited the Sisters of the Society of the Helpers of Mary Orphanage in Arusha. I was privileged to interact one on one with the orphans and the sisters themselves. The ages ranged from 1-18 years old. This orphanage also takes in teenage mothers that were assaulted and wanted to continue their pregnancy but were rejected by their families. When they reach 18 years of age, they are forced to either marry or find a job to make a living for themselves. A main problem is that after these children leave the orphanage, they don't have the ability to get a job because they weren't taught necessary skills. I was deeply affected by learning that most of the young girls leaving the orphanage end up living on the streets in very dangerous situations.

With your help, I would like to raise funds to donate sewing machines and computers to this orphanage so these children can learn a few basic skills. They would then have the ability to start their adult lives with more stability. Any donation amount would help, and the money will go directly to buying the sewing machines and computers for these orphans.
