Hi, my name is Tanya. I'm a 40-year-old mom and This GoFundMe is for my son, however. He has been diagnosed with a rare condition called SMA Syndrome, Renal Failure, and Nutcracker Syndrome. Only 500 cases have been diagnosed. The poor thing, for 9 years since the age of 20, has been in and out of hospitals, getting sent home like nothing's wrong with him. He started at 300 lbs; now he is 112 lbs and cannot eat or drink anything by mouth. He throws up every thirty minutes every day all day. I don't know what to do; it breaks my heart. The only thing that helps him do his cancer treatment program is his smoothies from near juice bar which he doesn’t throw up. I've tried hospice, but they disqualify him for having tube feeding in his heart; it counts as a 'life-saving measure.' It's insane that they wouldn't want you to make a comeback. He is supposed to eventually have a life-saving procedure, but at the moment, his doctors told us his heart is too weak and would go out under anesthesia. He has to pay every day cash for a large smoothie from Nectar Juice Bar. Between that and paying for insurance and his medication, he gets worse with stress, loses more weight, and throws up. So hopefully, doing this, people reading would have a heart.
