Hi,

My name is Tanya Mitchell. I am a wife and mother of 2 beautiful daughters. I am fundraising for myself. On January 19, I was diagnosed with stage 2 grade 3 Endometrial cancer. Cancer was the last thing that I expected to hear. I had to have a complete hysterectomy on February 19th. On April 10, 2024, I started chemo. I have to undergo 2 years of chemotherapy followed by radiation. My treatments are fierce and my life has changed drastically. I’m very grateful to have a job that lets me work from home but a lot of days are really tough. Due to the side effects of the chemotherapy, I have extreme bone pain, sickness, and neuropathy which causes me to miss a lot of work. My treatments have put a strain on me mentally, physically and financially. But my faith is strong and I know there is light at the end of the tunnel. I just need to get past this bump.
