Tanya is my lifelong friend, and she’s always been the kind of person who puts her family first. Recently, she lost her mother, Teri, to cancer. The loss has been devastating for Tanya and her family, especially as they try to navigate the emotional and financial challenges that come with such a difficult time. Tanya is a single mother and also helps care for her twin brothers, both in their early 20s and attending college. On top of that, her step-father is recovering from cardiac issues, and the family is facing two mortgages that have become overwhelming since Teri’s passing.

The medical bills left behind, along with funeral expenses and ongoing college costs for the twins, have created a heavy burden for Tanya and her loved ones. Despite her strength and resilience, the weight of these responsibilities is more than anyone should have to bear alone.
