Hi, everyone! I am setting up this GoFundMe to help my wonderful mother, Tanya with medical expenses, and the huge backlog of bills that have piled up over the past year.

Tanya was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) when she was in her 20's and she is now 51. She has been bound to a wheelchair for years and has been bed ridden for the past three years. My mother does collect SS, but it is far from being enough to help, and her current caretaker is my grandmother who is 70 years old. Also my two younger siblings live there.

With my mother being in the hospital for a total of 20 weeks in 2024 and 10 weeks in 2025 my grandmother was not getting paid. Because of the amount of time in the hospital and no income coming in, there is a long list over overdue house bills such as utilities, struggles with paying rent, and out of pocket medical bills as Medicare unfortunately doesn't cover everything.

Unfortunately, in 2021, my father, her long term partner and husband of 24 years, passed away very suddenly in his sleep, taking away another source of income in the household.

Despite the struggles and constant adversity thrown her way, Tanya remains resilient and does her best to be positive for not only herself, but her children. She puts a smile on every day and does not let multiple sclerosis win.

We ask that you consider donating anything you can to help this family. In addition to helping with expenses and bills, she intends to donate some of the money to the MS Society so researches can help find a cure to this disgusting disease.
