My name is Justin and I am first cousins with Tammy, Tanner’s mom. As you may or may not be aware of, on Saturday, June 8, Tanner experienced a seizure while with his family at Catamaran Park. This was the first seizure that Tanner had experienced in his life at 19 years old, and unfortunately, since that time Tanner has experienced numerous seizures. He was airlifted to St. John’s Health Sciences Centre where he remains in the ICU. There have been few answers as to why Tanner has experienced these seizures, despite undergoing MRIs, CT scans, lumbar punctures, and many other investigations. He has required to be intubated and on a ventilator due to the severity of his illness.

This fundraiser will provide the means for Tammy and Sheldon, who have both had to take an indefinite leave from work and care for Tanner while in hospital. This means hotel bills, gas expenses, meals in restaurants, and so on, on top of the normal day to day bills that do not pause even when these incidents occur.

Tanner is a young man who loves his car (it’s his baby even though it’s 14 years old!), enjoys video games, being with his friends, but more than anything loves his family!

Right now, Tanner needs his mom and family by his bedside as he fights through his illness. Please donate to ensure that his family remains by his side and that financial pressures are not a concern of theirs at this time.
