Help Tanisha Heal After Tragic Loss and Life-Changing Injuries

On August 17, 2025, Tanisha's life changed forever. She was involved in a tragic car accident that claimed the life of her only child and left her with multiple severe injuries, including a broken femur, pelvic bone, and hip.

Tanisha spent nearly a month in the hospital and rehabilitation center, fighting through unimaginable physical pain while grieving the loss of her beloved son. She now faces a long and difficult recovery — and she needs our help.

Due to her injuries, Tanisha is completely immobile and requires around-the-clock care. She depends on family and friends to help her bathe, cook, dress, and manage her medications. Her home is not equipped for her current needs — there is no wheelchair ramp, and she has no accessible shower or living space that accommodates her condition.

Medical expenses are mounting quickly. Insurance does not cover many of the supplies she needs daily, such as cleaning and medical care items. To make matters even more difficult, Tanisha will soon undergo a total hip replacement surgery, extending her recovery by another 3–6 months.

Because she is unable to work, Tanisha is now receiving only about 85% of her income from her primary job — and no benefits from her part-time job — resulting in a monthly loss of nearly $3,000. Bills are piling up, and resources are limited.
