Support Tani's Battle Against Brain Cancer

Donation protected
It was New Years Eve and Tani had dinner plans to celebrate the new year with his beautiful wife and daughter. He found himself exhausted but in true Tani fashion, although not feeling well, insisted on enjoying the dinner with his family and friends. His adoring wife, Edlira, noticed he wasn't saying much, which again, was extremely uncharacteristic for our fun-loving friend Tani.

Throughout the dinner, Tani's left side of his face seemed to be experiencing paralysis, was in excruciating pain and by the end of the dinner, he could not speak.

His wife drove him to the ER assuming he may have had a stroke. After several MRIs and a battery of tests, it was determined that a 4.6cm mass, the size of a golf ball, on the frontal lobe was causing the brain to shift. This created significant pain and loss of speech. Can you imagine bringing in the new year only to find out such devastating news and humbled by knowing the priority for the new year is to live? Can you imagine all that came to mind: his beautiful family, his amazing daughter, his beautiful wife, all the while, being stunned by his new reality.

Tani’s prognosis is a Glioblastoma Stage 4 Cancerous Tumor. Treatment will include radiation, chemo and a series of clinical trials. Various treatments will not be covered by insurance. Coupled with high deductibles and a loss of income, friends have established this GoFundMe page to help lessen the financial burden.

Please join us and support our warrior Tani during this time. Battling cancer requires strength, both physical and emotional. It requires a level of resilience and determination that few can comprehend. The journey is often filled with uncertainty, fear and countless challenges. It takes immense bravery to face the diagnosis, undergo treatments, endure the side effects, and to confront the unknown.

Courage in the face of cancer means showing up every day, even when it feels impossible. It means finding the strength to fight through the pain, the fatigue, and the setbacks. It involves a positive mindset even when the odds seem insurmountable. It means embracing the vulnerability and reaching out for support when needed.

Join us with prayers and hope for the positive probability of recovery and to hold onto the the belief that a brighter future awaits.
