I am reaching out to you in a time of profound need. My name is Tanika, and I am a devoted single mother to my beautiful daughter who is 12 years old. Just this morning at around 1 AM, disaster struck when my home was tragically engulfed in flames. This devastating loss comes only weeks after my family and I suffered the heartbreaking loss of my uncle in a fire in Harlem.

In addition to losing my home that I share with my brother, mother and daughter we lost everything! All of our beloved belongings and precious memories. I am now facing the immense challenge of starting over from scratch, and I am really hoping to get some support from you all as my community.
