The Powell-Green family has been hit with a devastating blow. Less than a month after losing both of our jobs and medical insurance and moving to Wisconsin, Taneshia has been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, a rare form of blood cancer. Thanks to an amazing family friend, she will soon be seeking treatment at Mayo Hospital in Minnesota with some of the best specialists in the country, but the bills are already piling up, and she will be unable to work for quite some time.

We are reaching out for help from family, friends, acquaintances, and kind strangers. Anything will help as we are working to pay regular monthly bills like rent, gas, and telephone, as well as what will be exorbitant medical expenses. Taneshia is in for the fight of her life, and we sincerely appreciate all the love and support that we can garner!
