Support Tam's Journey After Job Loss

Hello, my name is Tam and I started this fundraiser after hearing... There is help on the other side of the ask.

I was laid off last fall. Like most people, I applied for unemployment but was denied under the terms that I did not email the HR department for the staffing agency to let them know I was ready for another assignment, even though I was actively communicating with my assigned recruiter until he ghosted me just after the denial of benefits.

I applied for an appeal on Nov 7 and had to wait until Mar 14 for the hearing, and the previous judgment was upheld. I have been diligently looking for work while navigating my day-to-day life. Family and some friends have helped me, and I am very grateful for each of them. I decided to set my pride aside and try a further reach if there is anyone to help.

Even if you cannot help financially, I’d appreciate some encouragement and/or prayers as I navigate this journey while not having any local family and only a couple of friends here!
