"Tammy was always Tammy" is how one of her friends described her to me. She was an independent, sweet, loving character... who also had no problem speaking her mind.



It is with a heavy heart I must relay that she passed away yesterday, September 17th.

After the passing of her mother several years ago, Tammy had no close living relatives to speak of. Instead, she had a tight circle of friends who, over decades, became her family. Due to poor health in recent years, she was unable to work and was unable to even leave her small apartment.

Tammy was living on an extremely limited income, and there are no assets in her estate. We, her close friends-family, would like to see her crossing given the care and respect she deserves.

I am raising funds to help with expenses for a memorial and interment or cremation and the spreading of ashes. It is my hope that she and her beloved mother can rest together. (In California the average cost of cremation is around $5,600.)

Anything will help. Sharing this is also much appreciated.
