My name is Tammy. I grew up in a closed community, was homeschooled, and never given the opportunity to further my education. I left this community around 4 months ago and am now starting my new life. Starting on your own after 21 years of being hidden from the outside world has its hardships. Determination, I believe, is a key ingredient to success.
When I was 18, I had an accident. I lost my hand in a meat grinder. (In case you were wondering, I never found it; it stayed lost in the grinder). After a long road to recovery, I now find myself with a disability and starting over.
I am going to school for photography (my dream job). But as you know, school costs money. With no parents to support, and starting from scratch, it can be hard to find the money to do so.
So I am asking for your help, and if you would be so kind, I would appreciate a bit extra for medical treatment for my missing hand. Help me find my new hand! Yeah, we’ll never find the original, but we could find better.
Thank you.
