Hello, I am raising funds for my friend Tammy Harder. She was in a motor vehicle accident on 2/14/2025 and did a lot of doctoring and finally went back to work part-time in September of 2025. She was on the mend with her TBI, but on 1/10/2026 she had an ischemic stroke. She has lost all ability on her right side and her speech is slurry. She is scared and feels trapped in her own body. Her ischemic stroke was by the brain stem base, which prevents her from losing memory but is paralyzed on her right side. She is able to feel everything on her right side, but unable to move it. When she first had the stroke, she was able to move her legs and arms but had to wait two days for an MRI, which made her condition worsen.

On 1/14/2026, Tammy was transferred to Abbott Courage Kenny Rehabilitation in Minneapolis. She has had three days of PT, OT, and SLP. This is no less than 3 hours every day. Tammy is bound and determined to get stronger because she is not letting this take over her life.

On 1/6/2026, her first grandchild was born. Sadly, on 1/16/2026, her granddaughter was taken away from her daughter. So now Tammy is not only fighting for her life, but also for her family. Tammy not only wants to come back to her home, but she wants to come back to her granddaughter at home. On top of all of this, Tammy also has COVID.
