My dear friend and coworker, Tammy, discovered a lump in her breast at the end of September 2025 and was diagnosed with breast cancer in the beginning of October. Tammy is not only my friend; she is also a genuine person, wonderful coworker, mother, wife, and one of the most selfless people I have ever met. I am organizing this fundraiser for Tammy, because she would never ask for this herself.

This journey has been overwhelming physically, emotionally, and financially. There are critical treatments, surgeries, and supportive therapies that are not covered by her insurance, many of which require upfront payment with no payment plan options. As part of her treatment, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, she will be undergoing a bilateral mastectomy including a biopsy of sentinel lymph nodes due to concern of spreading. The expenses while dealing with cancer can quickly add up. I am reaching out with hope and gratitude to ask for your support.

All donations will be put toward out-of-pocket expenses not covered by insurance for Tammy’s cancer treatment. We hope to be able to lessen the financial burden of an already stressful situation.
