Hello everyone!

My name is Janae, my mother and I have been rescuing and caring for animals my whole life, (longer than that for my mom) and we desperately need your help, to continue doing so.

Caring for animals has been my mother's passion, which started very early in her life. After taking veterinary and zoology courses in her youth she has continued her work with animals through countless rescues and animal focused industries, giving voice to the voiceless.

With over 45 years of experience in animal education, nutrition and training she has dedicated her life to the health and well being of all creatures big and small.

My mother's expertise and ambition is what inspired Doc Dolittle's Ark many years ago, providing full service animal care to to wide variety of species, while generating revenue to support and foster animals in need.

As we all know, recent years have brought challenges and instability to many families, resulting in countless animals being surrendered to over crowded shelters. More pressure is being put on overwhelmed rescues, fosters and anyone concerned with animal welfare, then ever before.

Here in Doc Dolittle's Ark, the animals come first, and so we remain dedicated to serving the LA County area. We are excited to extend our capcities and capabilities but we are being met with own challenges and hardships, including loosing what was suposed to be our forever home. Now our small family is sinking fast and in need of a serious miracle.

We have begun the process of completing our USDA property loan, as well as our 501c3 paperwork, but currently we are still struggling to land our Ark safely. Though we contiue to care for anmals in need, time is running out in our temporary location and we are in desperate need of assistance.
