Tammy has always been the heart of her family and has been a dedicated physical therapist at Greenwich Hospital for over 30 years. As a wife and mother of three grown boys, she has spent her life caring for others—both at home and in her career. Her compassion and strength have touched countless lives, especially as she’s helped patients facing the same diagnosis she now bravely confronts herself: ALS.

Recently, Tammy received the life-changing news that she has ALS. She’s seen firsthand the challenges this disease brings, and now she and her family are facing them together. Despite the uncertainty, Tammy’s spirit remains strong. She’s always been active—running, swimming, and recently picking up pickleball. Her three boys are her world, and she’s been a constant presence in their lives as a PTA and class mom, always cheering them on from the sidelines.

As Tammy begins treatment with a leading specialist at Mass General, the financial burden is growing. The costs of medications, travel, lost earnings, and consultations for potential clinical trials are significant. We want to help ease this burden so Tammy and her family can focus on what truly matters: spending time together and supporting each other through this journey.

We are asking all of our friends, families, and community to rally around Tammy. She’s the strongest person I know and has never put herself first. It’s outside of her comfort zone to ask for help, as she’s always been the protector and giver. Now, at the most vulnerable and hardest part of her life, we want to show her just how much she is loved and supported.
