Meet Tammy Roy – Our Hospital’s Brightest Smile

If you’ve ever started your day at our Tim Hortons, you’ve likely been greeted by Tammy Roy’s unforgettable warmth. Her signature phrase, “Hello, Sunshine!”, has become an uplifting ritual for many hospital staff, patients, and families. Tammy’s kindness, compassion, and cheerful spirit brighten mornings and lift hearts—especially on tough days.

Tammy, born and raised in Carp, Ontario, joined the Tim Horton’s in November 2023. In just a short time, we can’t imagine our mornings without her. Her genuine care and positive attitude are truly inspiring.

But now Tammy needs our support.

She’s been suffering from a serious knee injury and is awaiting surgery. In the meantime, she’s working through significant pain—on her feet for long shifts—while still greeting everyone with a smile. To help manage the injury and continue working until surgery, Tammy urgently needs a custom knee brace and physiotherapy. After surgery, she’ll also need financial support for recovery, including time off work and basic living expenses.

Despite everything, Tammy never complains. She keeps showing up—bringing light to others while quietly struggling herself.
