A former classmate of mine, Tammy Peterson, has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma, which is the most aggressive type of breast cancer. She has already started chemotherapy and is undergoing treatments to help fight the cancer. After her chemotherapy is completed, she will continue with immunotherapy treatments.

Tammy has had a life-altering medical diagnosis that will now take time and many months of travel back and forth to complete her treatments.
