Support Tammy Lynne's Hospice Care

Update: I'm so sad to share that on 8/4 at about 8pm, Tammy Lynne passed away. She was surrounded by friends expressing their love. Her passing was peaceful. We are grateful for the time that she gave us. For now we've closed the fundraiser; we've raised enough to pay her final hospice bills. If we have any leftover, we will share with this group how we plan to use or give back any extra money. We're still figuring out the logistics of it. Thank you for your love and support.

As many of you know, our close friend, Tammy Lynne, has been battling cancer for 20+ years. She has been through multiple surgeries and seemingly endless chemotherapy treatments. Suffice it to say she's been to hell and back. And yet, anyone of us who have been fortunate enough to know her or spend time with her will tell you that she is always a positive ray of sunshine. This beautiful woman has continued to exclude resilience, positivity, laughter, and joy throughout her journey. Unfortunately, however, she is losing her latest battle with pancreatic cancer and has decided not to treat it with chemotherapy or other intensive treatments.

Tammy-Lynne has been able to spend the last two months in the Kline Hospice House in Frederick, Maryland, which is an amazing inpatient hospice facility that has provided her with the care and compassion that she deserves. However, the years of dealing with this horrible disease have taken a huge financial toll on her and her family. Unfortunately, the wonderful accommodations and care provided by the Kline Hospice House come with a cost of about $275 per day, which Tammy-Lynne is no longer able to sustain.

We, Tammy-Lynne's closest friends, have created this GoFundMe page to help her continue to get the care she deserves for her remaining days. We would appreciate any contribution you can make, even if it is a few dollars to help with costs. The money will go directly to Hospice House to support Tammy Lynne's care.
