Our dear friend Tami has been battling Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) for more than five years. Within the last year her condition has declined and her MDS is no longer responding to medication. She is now preparing for a life-saving bone marrow transplant. A stem cell or bone marrow transplant is the only potential cure for MDS.
A matching donor has been found and Tami’s bone marrow transplant is scheduled for November 26, 2025, the day before Thanksgiving. The hospital in Dallas is two hours from her home in East Texas, and many of her family and post-transplant caregivers will be traveling hundreds of miles to support her.
Tami has not been able to work for several years due to the debilitating effects of her MDS journey. The financial strain of treatment, travel, and even every day expenses has been overwhelming — but Tami continues to face every challenge with her undeniable faith in Jesus.
Any donation, big or small, will help Tami focus on healing and help offset the coming expenses she faces. Your donations will go toward medical bills, travel costs, a lengthy hospital stay, chemo treatments, and recovery expenses as Tami prepares for her transplant and the healing journey ahead.
Please keep Tami and her family in your prayers, and THANK YOU for your love, generosity, and support. - Her friends, Robin and Cathy
