We are reaching out on behalf of a bright, talented 7th grader named Tamina Escutia, who recently experienced a tragic accident that has turned her world upside down.

Tamina’s right index finger—her dominant hand—was severely injured when it was caught in a door, resulting in the finger being severed down to the bone. As you can imagine, this has been a painful and traumatic experience for her and her family. What started as an ordinary day quickly transformed into a nightmare that they are now working hard to overcome.

Tamina has a long road to recovery ahead. Her journey includes ongoing medical treatments. Unfortunately, these unexpected medical expenses have already begun to pile up, adding an overwhelming financial burden to her family during this incredibly difficult time.

Despite the challenges, Tamina has shown incredible strength, resilience, and courage. She’s always been a vibrant spirit in her community—a dedicated student, a loving friend, and a cherished family member.
