Support Tamika's Journey to Restore Her Career

Hello my name is Tamika I’m a single mom of an amazing toddler and I’ve been a professional makeup artist and educator for well over 20years. I recently was robbed of my entire professional makeup kit to include 2 fully stocked train cases with individual zipper cases that are filled with makeup products as well as 2 airbrush machines their cleaning tools and their specific products for use. If I had to guess my kits contained well over 15,000 worth of products and the cases too were expensive. The kits were stolen in NW DC near my home. I have filed a police report and filed a claim with insurance of which they denied covering the loss. I’ve been building and perfecting this kit for my entire career. I am at a huge devastating loss without tools of which I work to provide for myself as well as my son and our well being. I am praying non-stop that the cases will be recovered. In the interim I have had to cancel several clients, because I am without tools and products. This is not only devastating to the client of which 2 were brides but for my business and of course my livelihood. I’ve been blessed with an amazing community who has asked me to create this crowd fund to get me back to business! I am more than grateful for any contribution, prayer, and well wish. I know I can’t replace the items and their sentimental value but I can start new and continue to provide for myself and my family. Thank you to my awesome village for this idea, thank you for uplifting me and the outpouring of support with all that has happened. I’m grateful. And with Gods grace I will stand again, build anew and press forward.
