Help Tami & Paul Rebuild After Devastating House Fire
Our hearts are broken as we share the unimaginable loss our dear neighbors, Tami and Paul, are facing.
Last Friday morning, their home caught fire. By the grace of God, a neighbor walking by noticed smoke and quickly called 911—an act that undoubtedly prevented an even greater tragedy.
Tami and her family have lived in this home for over 30 years and are the original owners. It is more than just a house—it is a lifetime of memories, love, and hard work. The damage is truly heartbreaking.
While we are so thankful that Tami, Paul, and their four beloved bichon dogs were not home at the time, the fire brought heartbreaking loss. Three of their cats tragically passed away. One sweet survivor, Panda Paws, is still fighting and urgently needs veterinary care to treat smoke inhalation and help clear their lungs.
Even more devastating, a family member who was home at the time of the fire sadly did not survive. This loss is truly unimaginable, and the grief they are carrying is beyond words.
Due to severe smoke damage, nearly everything inside the home has been destroyed or is unsalvageable. Tami and Paul are now facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
Anyone who knows Tami knows her heart is as big as they come. She is an incredible animal lover who has rescued so many pets—many in poor health—and nursed them back to life with unwavering love and care. She treats every one of them like her children. Her animals are her world, and this loss has been especially painful.
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the Parma Fire Department for their swift and courageous response. They worked tirelessly to enter the home and do everything possible to save the family member inside. Their dedication and bravery do not go unnoticed.
